Whistle Crew Micro Bitonal
-
- Whistle Crew Micro Bitonal with classic wall generation and a 0.6HF nozzle
- Arachne left a pin-hole on the non-key-ring side chamber, leaving it silent unless plugged, classic wall generation seems to avoid this issue
- Initial single-whistle test done. Seems to work well, both chambers are loud. Structure is solid and unlikely to break under normal use
-
- Whistle Crew Micro Bitonal with classic wall generation and a 0.6HF nozzle
- Initial mechanical and manual testing of 10 whistles from this plate had a 100% success rating.
- Will print on MK3S and another MK4 plate to verify
- Second MK4 plate was perfect, all 10 whistles passed QA.
- First MK3S plate was bad. >25% whistles with at least one chamber silent. From a visual inspection, it appears my first layer may be too high, resulting in gaps, or I need to slightly increase the extrusion multiplier. For the moment, tasked MK3S to print Pocket Riots.
- Tests have resulted in the following wiki page: Whistle Crew Micro Bitonal

Penne 2.0
- Penne 2.0
- Warnings: Not louder than 38mm micro bitonal
- TODO: Compare to Pocket Riot
- TODO: Find and install db meter, ask group for testing methodologies, document
- MK3S: TODO
- MK4: Printed single test whistle
- Tests show that the Penne 2.0 produces less-audible sound with a harder “toot”. Will stick to 38mm Micro Bitonals and Pocket Riots for now.
